In mei 2013 ontving Almazara tijdens het jaarlijkse IPE Real Estate Global Conference & Awards in Londen de Gold Award 2013 in de categorie Best Investment Consultancy wereldwijd. De jury, bestaande uit pensioenfondsbestuurders, kwam tot de volgende conclusie: ‘This boutique is deliberately small, with a limited number of highly experienced partners and a very strong client focus, with strict norms of professional behaviour, transparency and professional integrity. Their stated concern is ‘the value-add we bring to the client’s table, not the size of AUM’. This is a very refreshing approach and a model that institutional clients would always welcome.’
